Raised in the wilds of west Wales by good-hearted, nature-loving parents, I began my career as a journalist, contributing to the likes of The Times, The Guardian, Spirit & Destiny and BBC Radio before my life was transformed by meditation.
At 30 I fell in love with my inner silence. The deep peace I found within compelled me to begin assisting others to attune to their wellspring of inner guidance.
Inspired by the very positive changes in my life, I trained as a Somatic Experiencing trauma therapist and gained powerful new insights into the mind-body connection. When the body is relaxed, the mind can be still and receptive. I am a founding member and former Co-Chair of the Somatic Experiencing Association UK.
With Cher Chevalier, I am a co-author of the 24 (3x8) Meditations and The 7 Steps of Calm that launched Calm, iTunes App of the Year 2017. I am author of A Guide to Being a Better Being, a Visiting Lecturer at City University, London, and a vegan for the animals and planet.
Today, I am honoured to have taught royalty, children, adults and world-class companies how to rest and become their best. Oxford University, eBay, Deloitte, John Lewis & Partners, LEON and Stylist are among the brands who’ve kindly selected me to work with them.
You have been a tremendous source of information, insight and inspiration. You have ensured I retain full responsibility for my personal journey, while helping me see more clearly the thoughts and behaviours that are helpful, and those that are not. Tony
